A Gift to Ryde Marina Bowls Club from the family of Ron Franklin, deceased, ‘Who loved the Isle of Wight’.

 Seat Donation

The family of the late Ron Franklin travelled from Leamington Spa to present a seat in memory of Ron. During the family’s numerous holidays on the Island, Ron spent many relaxing hours at RMBC, both bowling and watching the games.

The plaque supplied by the family says  ‘In Loving Memory of Ron Franklin who loved the Isle of Wight. Please take a seat and enjoy’.

Members of Ryde Marina Bowls Club know that many, like Ron in the past, will continue to enjoy a warm welcome at the club.
